Hari is back after a small break. The ‘Singam’ director will start shooting his next project ‘Venghai’ from today, a fim which will bring him together for the first time with Dhanush.
Produced by B Bharathi Reddy on behalf of the famed Vijaya Productions, the film will have Tamannah as heroine. Remember the same production house made Dhanush’s ‘Padikadhavan’ last year with the same Tamannah as female lead.
And interestingly, it was Bharathi Reddy who also produced ‘Thamirabharani’, one of the earlier films of Hari. “These factors have raised expecations on the movie,” sources close to the director say.
Devi Sri Prasad, who composed chartbusters for ‘Singam’, will score music for ‘Venghai’ too. Rajkiran, Kalabhavan Mani and Ganja Karuppu will play important roles. Cinematography is by Vetri and editing by V T Vijayan

Director Hari and actor Dhanush, have come together for a movie titled Vengai and shooting for which begins from today
Produced by B Bharathi Reddy on Vijaya Productions banner, the film has Tamannah as heroine. Rajikiran, Kalabhavan Mani and Ganja Karuppu play important role while music is by Devi Sri Prasad.
Vengai is a story based in Sivagangai district. On the film, Hari says, ‘It is a racy subject which will show Dhanush in a different light. I am happy to work with an actor like him.’
